There were many careers, but some of the common were given by President Roosevelt. These jobs consisted of planting trees in parks and in forests. These three-hundred thousand young men were called “tree army”. Another career was construction. Many men were hired to build roads, schools, and playgrounds. Later the government hired more men to renew or rebuild hospitals and airport fields . this helped out the economy.
